Playdate with Aiden

So I know the term 'playdate' is usually used for 2 kids getting together, but this afternoon that's exactly what I met up with Aiden for. His mom and I had planned a session at Riverside Park in Kamloops, BC but as I am learning more and more, kids never want to stop playing in order to have a photo shoot. So, we rolled with the punches and just sorta played around! Here's a sneak peak from his play session!

Growl! Gimme your best wild thing face!

Crystal

This weekend I'm happy to be shooting in beautiful (but smokey) Kamloops, BC. My first shoot of the trip was actually a friend of mine from high school. Crystal had mentioned a long time ago that she wanted to have a photo session and I was finally able to oblige! We met at our old University campus in the early afternoon and were able to enjoy the beauty that TRU's horticultural house while the staff set up for a wedding. Here is a sneak peak from her session!

Beautiful Bride

As you can see from the previous post, I had the pleasure of being able to photograph the Drummond Wedding. I wanted to do a seperate blog entry to showcase the beautiful bride, Michelle. Working with her was so much fun because not only is she gorgeous and an adventure seeker, but she is also a photographer so she's not afraid to get her feet wet to make the shot. I'm beyond excited for her trash the dress session!

This was as close as we were willing to get to doing any damage to the dress. I wanted to jump in front of her to get a shot of her feet in the water...but we'll save that for the trash the dress session!

Every photographer needs pictures of herself in action!
