Melissa - Miss BCJD

This weekend I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Miss British Columbia Job's Daughter, Melissa. Although she's only two weeks into her year, she already has the poise and grace of an experienced Miss. The purpose of the shoot was to provide her with portraits and a few candids for her year.

It doesn't have to be a wedding dress to have its picture taken...

Calgary City View

Got a few quick snapshots done at a small city park overlooking the stampede grounds in Ramsey...

I missed posting on Laura's What's Your Play (dolcepics.com) this past week, even though I did a few copies of it. So now that the next one has started, I'm wanted to get it up right away so I don't forget! Here is the original...

Faraon (With Jodymae & Bruce)

Faraon will be celebrating his first birthday in a few days. To commemorate the milestone I met up with Faraon and his parents, Jodymae & Bruce for a quick shoot on Sunday morning. Although it was rather cold and windy Faraon was very friendly, and even offered photo advice when he thought it was needed. :)

Aiden and Staisha

On Saturday morning I met up with my friend Staisha and her son Aiden for some fun at Riverside Park in Kamloops, BC. Aiden will be two years old this August and like many boys his age, is growing like a weed. His nickname for the shoot was "Mumbles" after the character in the movie Happy Feet because although he only spoke a handful of times, he was smiley, dancing and offered words of photo advice when he though it was necessary. :D He has recently decided he likes the sound of his boots on pavement and his mom and I couldn't help but giggle sometimes as he ran back and forth along the pavement dancing for us.
