May I present to you...Mr. & Mrs. Josh McLeod!

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Josh McLeod! If you've visited The Wishing Star Gallery before you may recall their engagement session from June. (If not you can view it here.) Their ceremony was beautiful and touching. The reception was fun filled. The Limo was large and shiny. And the photo session in the park was.. full of shenanegans! Here's some of my favourites.

As a warm up to this busy weekend I took the oppertunity to snap off a few fun shots before getting down to business. I love ring pictures. I love cupcakes. I loved this shoot. Feel the loooooooooveee!

Post Processing : Textures

As an amateur photographer I'm always reading and learning about different elements of photography. I have a particular interest in post processing ("photoshopping") and when I came across some articles on texturing I was immediately intrigued. Here are few examples of one of the many artistic sides of post processing.

Maria & Kevin

I must admit, this week I sent poor Maria & Kevin on a bit of a wild goose chase. Although my directions to the venue for their engagement shoot were a little confusing, I prefer to think of the instructions as more of a treasure map... A map to one of my most favourite venues for photos! There was a cool breeze as the sun was setting and it made for some really funky lighting. Here's a sneak peak from the session on Friday night. Country Rain

This morning I had been watching the weather channel and eagerly awaiting some sign that the earlier forecasted rain wasn't going to come. I met with Linda and her friends in Bragg Creek this afternoon with one eye on the sky. Well sure enough, we hadn't even been there for 15 minutes and it started to rain. At first it was a light trickle but then it poured buckets! Here's a sneak peak from the shoot.

Ryan
