Linda & Roger

Linda & Roger are set to wed this fall and I was honoured to photograph them this afternoon for their engagement shoot. They are unique in their relationship and want their wedding to reflect their fun and original personalities. It was such a pleasure to work with them and I look forward to our next shoot next week!

What with all of these serious posts lately I thought a short spur of the moment post was in order. While working on photos from Kristen & Josh's engagement session and I look over to my chocolate lab Hartigan who looks like this...

Yeeeeahhh. That's my dog, desperate for attention and a belly rub. He does this whenever he feels neglected or bored. It makes me burst out laughing every time I see it, much to his amusement. And here's a redemption shot...

Kristen & Josh

Kristen and Josh are too cute together. Their wedding is slated for this summer and I'm beyond excited to photograph it for them. Here are a few sneak peaks from their engagement session earlier today. They were both such troopers, especially since they were being eaten alive by mosquitoes!

Morgan & Brad

This afternoon was beautiful and sunny. This session with Morgan & Brad had been rescheduled a number of times due to bad weather and work but we finally made it out for it! Here are a few sneak peaks for Morgan who is eagerly awaiting the pictures! I can't wait for our shoot next month and for the rest of our sessions to document her baby belly growth.

Love at the Zoo

This afternoon I visited my favourite attraction in Calgary... the Zoo! Scott and Michelle celebrated their anniversary this month and when they suggested the zoo for their photo session I couldn't resist. Unfortunately due to the amazing weather today, the zoo was absolutely packed full of people and didn't bode to well for a shoot. But that fact aside, it was a great day at the zoo!

Joti's Henna Ceremony

This evening I experienced my first Henna ceremony. The young and beautiful bride, Joti, was surrounded by friends and family as she was painted with henna for her upcoming wedding this weekend. It was such a great experience. I'm very excited for go back on Friday for the next ceremony. Here are my favourite pictures from tonight!
